Tempting His Mate is a HOT and thrilling shifter romance by Savannah Stuart (aka Katie Reus)

imageTempting His Mate is the third book in the Crescent Moon paranormal romance series by Katie Reus, writing as Savannah Stuart. I hadn’t read this series, so was delighted for the excuse to do so when the publisher shared a copy of Tempting His Mate with me for review. Let me say this is one HOT werewolf / shifter romance series that I think you’ll enjoy.

Each book in the series – Taming the Alpha (book 1), Claiming His Mate (book 2), and Tempting His Mate (book 3) – is novella length (under 90 pages), so the …

Plot twists and turns create a real page-turner in Rachel Kall’s political romantic thriller Race to Kill

imageRachel Kall‘s romantic thriller, Race to Kill (A Love and Scandal Novel), is a book that draws you in with its depiction of the behind-the-scenes action of a presidential race. Soon however, the focus really shifts to the interaction between heroine Vivian Reese and undercover FBI agent Marcus Locke. It’s apparent that their initial antagonism masks a fierce attraction.

After the first book, I was hooked as the reality conveyed in Scott’s military romance is engrossing. No, this isn’t a series where just because you’re a soldier, you’re one step below a kryptonite-free Superman. This is a series where the characters are heroes (and heroines), because of the fact they don’t have super strength or genetic engineering – just a tremendous amount of faith, love, and sense of duty.

The holiday-themed …

Cooking from the heart, romance, and suspense highlight Deborah Smith’s fabulous and fun The Pickle Queen

imageOh my, I’ve got a reader crush on Deborah Smith as she has combined some unbelievable southern sassiness and fun, culinary wow, romance and suspense in her MacBrides series. I absolutely loved the first book in the series, The Biscuit Witch and couldn’t wait to read her second, The Pickle Queen.

A suggestion, if you haven’t already read The Biscuit Witch, do so before reading The Pickle Queen. While this could be a stand-alone novel, if you don’t you’ll be missing out on quite a bit of back-story and actually a rollicking good read. Just be …
